The ZIP 100 drive was a revelation in the previous century, I have a 1998 Dell T700R (PIII 750MHz, 768MB RAM, 30 and 80GB drives on SCSI 66 controller) running Windows XP and with a ZIP 100 drive.-That's what $2,600 bought in 1998. The other possibility is that there were external ZIP drives that were USB and that would avoid the parallel port driver problem. If the linked driver doesn't work and the files are very important, I wonder if it would be possible to run a Windows XP as VM and download the files. Here is a download site for an Iomega ZIP 100 driver that lists supporting Windows 7: I've visited the following page and associated links without success When I connect my old Iomega ZIP100 to my PC running Windows 7, all the lights are on but no one's home!ĭo I need to install a driver? If so, I would be very grateful if someone can provide me a link for a free download.
